Hi there, it’s Tracey back again today with another fun birthday card featuring the Half Striped Cover die.
I cut a piece of heavyweight white cardstock with the Half Striped Cover Die. I used the Studio Katia blending brushes and then I ink blended each of the diagonal strips that fell from the cut using Distress Oxide inks in rainbow order. I used Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Twited Citron, Peacock Feather, Wilted Violet and Chipped Saphire. After I blended the ink I tapped some clean water on to the strips and picked some of the colour up with paper towel.
The sentiment from Birthday Greetings (one of my absolute favourite sets) was stamped directly to the card base with black ink.
A cheery clean and simple design Thanks so much for stopping in today.

Hey lovelies, I hope you are all doing well and holding up ok ? It is Tracy here with you today sharing a card I created using the Kind Bouquet Stamp set.
I recently was sent a beautiful bunch of Rainbow Roses and they were so beautiful and made me smile whenever I saw them so I decided to take inspiration from them for my card.
I stamped onto some Neenah and then coloured using my Spectrum Noir Classique Markers, once that was done I die cut the flowers our and stamped the Kindness stamp and also die cut that out.
I then die cut a piece of Neenah using the Scallop hearts cover die. I lined everything up and then stamped the Matters sentiment stamp.
I played around with different papers and had this paper in my stash and decided to finally use it….who else hoards paper ?
To give some dimension I adhered the roses and word with foam tape and then decided to finish off with Crystal Clear Sequin Fushion.
I think a colourful card with a sentiment like this is perfect for the moment and I hope you all like it.
Thank you so much for stopping by, happy crafting.
Hello everyone! It’s Galina. Do you love no-line coloring? For me it’s a great technique to get something new on my card. For this card I used Floral Garden Stamp set from Studio Katia and Autumn Leaves Stencil. For the sentiment I picked a big stamp from It’s Your Birthday set.
How I made this card you can watch in the video below or on Studio Katia Youtube channel.
I decided to make a birthday card only with a 3 big flowers from the FLORAL GARDEN stamp set. I love the whole floral pattern of this stamp, but sometimes I want to try something new. For this stamp I created a special mask. I stamp the floral pattern on a copy paper and cut out 3 big flowers I want to use. I flip the mask and covered a stamp with it. I applied light yellow ink through the mask on a stamp, then I removed the mask and I get ink only on the flowers I want to stamp.
To color those beautiful flowers I used Tombow dual brush pens. Any medium will works with no-line technique, but today I want to play with a watercolors 🙂
To create a card background I used yellow color distress ink, which I aplied throught the stencil with a blending brush. I stamped a big sentiment with black ink and foam mount the flowers. I add few drops to embelish my card.
Hope you like it! And will try this partial stamping technique!
Thank fro stopping by!
Hello my friends, Ilda here. I hope you are all staying safe and healthy at home during this time.
Today’s card was sadly inspired by the Pandemic, right now there is definitely no place like home! At the time that this was colored, (Day 15 of Kathy Racoocin’s Daily Marker Coloring Challenge) Italy was and still is going through difficult times. I have never been to Italy but I imagine it has some beautiful coastal places like this, maybe even whimsical too.
To begin I stamped out all of the WHIMSICAL TOWN stamps that I wanted to use and colored them in using Copic Markers. I chose the bright colors of the rainbow and then mixed them up to color all the buildings. I think the colorful images just add to the whimsy of the card.
Once all the elements were colored I then used the coordinating WHIMSICAL TOWN DIES to cut the pieces out.
Next, I used the BRUSH STROKE WAVES STENCIL to blend out the ocean for the background. I then trimmed the piece and glued it to the card front and began building the scene from there.
To create the illusion of the water in the background I popped up the houses starting with the houses closest to the ocean. I then used the SIMPLE BORDERS DIES to create the grass and to cover up the bottom edges of the buildings. The middle hill was just the opposite cut of the die that I glued in place and added some trees and bushes to.
For the front row of houses, I added an extra layer of foam only to the top parts of the buildings to continue to the illusion of depth.
To finish off the card I stamped out the sentiment from the WHIMSICAL TOWN stamps onto the bottom grass piece and popped it onto place.
I hope this card has inspired you today. I love how it turned out and hope you do too.
Stay safe my friends, stay home. I still have to go to work but I am thankful for cardmaking these days as it keeps me busy and distracted from the craziness outside.
Thank you for stopping by and until next time… Happy Crafting!
Hello friends! Olga is here. Today I want to show you my new card featuring our FLORAL CROSS stamp set in an unusual way.
The stamp has the shape of a cross, and I thought, what if I’ll place the crosses diagonally and connect them. When I did that I got an image of wooden slats that wrap around flowers.
To create this background, I only needed the stamp, my alcohol markers and a black liner. Once I finished colouring my background I stamped the sentiments from the PEONY TRIMMINGS set with Versamark ink and heat embossed it in white embossing powder on a Lime Green cardstock. Next, I die cut out the sentiments using PEONY TRIMMINGS DIES and foam mounted them on my card.
To embellish the card I used GOLD FEVER CONFETTI.
Hope you will like my idea and will try it yourself. Have a nice day!
Hey lovelies, Tracy here with you today. I think we can all agree the world is a crazy place at the moment, but what a better time to send a card to someone to cheer them up.
I have used the A Cup Of Thanks Stamp set for my card today, I love this stamp set and its so perfect for this kind of card.
I stamped onto some Neenah and then coloured using Spectrum Noir TriBlend markers and then used the matching A Cup Of Thanks die.
I then took some more Neenah and used the Dotted Patterns Set 4 main die and die cut the panel. I was going to leave this blank but instead added a light area of ink to sit behind the cup. I also added a sentiment from the You’re So Sweet stamp set.
I decided to try something slightly different and add some twine to the outside of the die, this is a great way to dress an eyelet die like this and is so easy to do.
To give some dimension I usedFoam tape to adhere the cup and also to adhere the panel to some patterned paper which I then adhered to an A2 card.
I really like how this card turned out. I hope you are all staying crafty during this period and staying safe.
This 3 panels had next dimensions: 13.6 x 16.6, 13.6 x 14.6 and 13.6 x 12.6. Panels scored at 3 and 13.6; 2 and 12.6; 1 and 11.6 accordingly and the flaps are glued together after the overlap. Then I diecut windows in decreasing size in the center of each to get more of a tunneled-look to my card. (All dimensions are in cm.)
Placed all the elements on the white paper panels using double-sided foam tape. Heat embossed the sentiment from AND THE FOX SAYS… stamp set using white powder. I decorated everything with EXOTIC ONYX PEARLS.
Thank you so much for join me today, have a great day!
Hi everyone! It’s Laura here and today I am back with a bright and cheerful card and a video showing how to create an easy watercolor background with Distress Ink Reinkers!
I created the background on some watercolor cardstock that I had die cut with the Scallop Heart Cover die. I wet the panel with water and added a few drops of Distress Reinkers in Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass.
I also added some droplets with water, my Distress Inks, white acrylic paint and Spectrum Noir Sparkle ink in the color Jade.
The images I used today are part of the Under the Sea stamp set. I stamped them with Spectrum Noir black alcohol proof ink on Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock and colored them with Illustrator markers.
Here is the list of markers I used
Manta Ray: LV3, HB3, HB2, HB1
Jelly Fish: BP7, BP5, BP3, BP1
Squid: OR1, GY3, CT4, CT2
Puffer Fish: JG5, GT3, GT2, GT1
Sea Horse: TB5, TB3, TB1
Crab: CT10, CT7, CT4
Tiny Fish: CT4, CT2, LY1
Star Fish: OR3, OR2, OR1
Sea Weed: CT4, CT2, CT1
Coral: BT6, IB3, IB2, IB1
Rocks: IG7, IG5, IG3
Once the coloring was over, I die cut the images with the coordinating dies.
For the sentiment I used the Lovely Words dies and for the black card background I used the Darling Ribbon and Frames dies.
I added some finishing touches with a glitter brush pen, a white gel pen and a black glaze pen. I mounted everything on a side folding card base and that finished off my card.
If you are interested in seeing the step by step process, here’s my video for you! I hope you like it!
Thank you all for stopping by and have a great day!
