You Inspire Me Shaker by Tracey

Hi there, it’s Tracey here today and I have a shaker card featuring the Flourishing Note stamp set and Flourishing Note die set. I stamped and coloured the image with Copic markers and set it aside.

Copic Colours Used:
YG03 YG17
RV10, RV13, FV14
BV000, V12, V15, V17

To create the shaker element I die cut the scallop layer of the Dotted Patterns Set 4 dies once with white cardstock. Then I cut two layers of the regular window frame with foam foam and one more cut with white cardstock. Then I used the Studio Katia Acetate Sheets to cut a 2 3/4″ x 4″ piece for the shaker window.

I used a soft grey panel that I attached to the card base and then I adhered the white scallop frame to the panel. I glued the two foam window frames together with Studio Katia Glue and then I glued the foam window frame to the card base over top of the scallop frame.

I used my powder tool to prep to inner walls of the skaker and then added some Mallow Crystals, Rouge Pink Crystals and a sprinkle of Flowers Glitter into each of the two wells. I used the Studio Katia Triangle Trays and the Studio Katia Embellishment Wand to help manage the crystals and glitter. I attached the acetate piece to the back of the white cardstock window frame die cut and I added it on the top of the shaker with strong double sided tape.

The Flouruishing Note die cut was completed with a sentiment from the Craftastic stamp set right on the die cut envelope and it was added over the top of the frame with foam tape.

Wishing You Shaker Card with Isha Gupta

Hello everyone! Isha here with you today with a fun shaker card along with how to add impression to the stamped image for extra dimension.

First I stamped the image to the corners, onto my white panel using Flourishing Note stamp set. I just used the floral part of it. I then used the Rectangular Dots Cover Plate and ran it through the die-cutting machine. The dots give pretty effect to the stamped panel.

I love flat shaker card so for the shaker panel, I die-cut the letters YOU using the new Chunky Alphabet Dies. Cut the negative piece in a stripe. I then brushed a bit of pink ink to the letters for an ombrè effect.

Adhere the main panel to a black card. Adhere the letters “YOU”. Stamp sentiment from It’s Your Birthday stamp set to the stripe. Adhere a thin stripe of b/w stripes from the Black, White & Rainbow pattern paper pad. Adhere a piece of acetate to the back of this stripe panel. Put some Frost Glitter to the YOU word and adhere the stripe panel onto it.

To finish, add some Rouge Pink Crystals.

Slimline balloons birthday card

Hello everyone! It’s Galina and today I want to show how to create a super birthday card with a lot of balloons. For this card I used a cute little stamp set called Kobi bearing gifts, DOTTED SLIMLINE SET 2 and balloon stencils.

Using two dies from the DOTTED SLIMLINE SET 2 I cut out two white panel. On the bigger panel I created a ballon card background. I applied different distress ink through the balloon stencils. I used twisted citron and mermaid lagoon for smallest balloons and mustardseed and picked raspberry for biggest balloons.

I stamped and cut out with coordinating dies: Kobi and a lot of ballons. I colroed my images with alcohol markers. Tried to pick same colors I used for cardbackground. I foam mount them on a small panel and stamped a sentiment. I used a small sentiment stamp from the Kobi bearing gifts.

Slimline Ocean Scene with Laura

Hi everyone! It’s Laura here, and today I am back to share with you a slimline ocean scene card and a video tutorial showing how to make it!

The images I used for today’s card are part of the Jawesome and Under the Sea stamp sets. So fun and perfect together! I stamped them with Spectrum Noir Flagstone Ink and I colored them with Illustrator markers.
Here is a list of colors I used

Sharks: BGR1, BGR3, BGR5
Pufferfish: PP5, PP3, PP1, BG3, BG1
Jellyfish: LV3, HB3, HB1
Sea Horse: GT1, GT3
Tiny Fish: OR1, CT4, CT1
Yellow Fish: OR1, BO1, CT4, CT1, LV3, HB3, HB1, BG3, BG1
Starfish: MG5, MG3, MG1
Seaweed: AG3, AG1, CG1
Rocks: BG1, BG3, BG5
Coral: PP5, PP3, PP1

Once I was done coloring the images, I die cut them with the coordinating dies.

For the background I die cut some watercolor cardstock using the Dotted Slimline Set 2 dies.
I left the background panel as is and ink blended the scalloped rectangle with Distress Oxides

I used Speckled Egg, Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire. I added some droplets with water, my Distress Oxides and, for added sparkle, with my Gansai Tambi Starry Colors.

For the sand bank I die cut some more watercolor cardstock. I combined the Dotted Slimline Set 2 with the Trimmings Borders dies. I ink blended the panel with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Oxides and added some droplets with my inks and my Gansai Tambi Starry Colors on this panel, too.

I adhered all the images in place and I used the Flourishing Notes coordinating dies to create my sentiment.

I finished off the card with some Iridescend Bubbles and Tiny Iridescent Bubbles and some details with a white gel pen!

A Flourishing Note Hello Friendship Card

Hey everyone, Ilda here!

Today I am sending you all a Flourishing Hello. Love this new FLOURISHING NOTE stamp from Studio Katia, it is so pretty and it makes for such a beautiful friendship card!

CARD DETAILS

To begin this beauty, I stamped out the image from the FLOURISHING NOTE and colored it in using Copic markers. I then used the coordinating FLOURISHING NOTE DIES to cut out the image as well as the Hello die 3 times from black cardstock that I will use later on.

For the background, I first used the inside of the SCALLOP HEARTS COVER to die cut the hearts from the white panel. I then used the largest scallop frame from the DOTTED PATTERNS SET 4 to finish off the card panel.

Behind the heart openings, I glued a piece of pale pink cardstock to add another layer of color. I then die cut another layer of blue hearts using the SCALLOP HEARTS COVER to add a blue edge to the white hearts, I then popped the hearts back in place with foam tape and glued the Flourishing Card Stamp in place.

TIP: I also used the same blue cardstock piece that I die cut the blue heart edges from to glue onto the card base as the center of the panel gets covered up and won’t be seen.

For finishing touches, I added some new BLUEBELL PEARLS and then added the hello that I had stacked and glued together from the FLOURISHING NOTE DIES and then added Glossy Accents to.

Cacti Hugs by Tracey

Hi there, it’s Tracey here today this past week for an exciting week in both Canada and the U.S. celebrating Canada Day and Independence Day. As we enter the 5th month of the pandemic it may have been a more subdued celebration than normal. So if you can’t enjoy fireworks you can make a card and today I have a cute slimline cactus card.

I stamped out 5 cactus images from the Studio Katia Cactus Hugs stamp set and coloured the images with Copic markers adding shading on all the images. I added adding a bit more interest to the cacti with a white gel pen. Using my Copic blender I created some spots to the succulent on the far right. Once done I die cut the images with the Studio Katia Cactus Hugs Creative Dies.

I have five Cacti on the font of my card so I wanted my heading to reflect multiple cactus. I cut the letters to spell Cacti using the Studio Katia Chunky Alpha Creative Dies in black.

I die cut a panel of Neenah Solar white cardstock using the large rounded rectangle from the new Studio Katia Dotted Slimline Set 1. To ground my images I lightly blended Tea Dye and Crushed Olive Distress Inks to the bottom of the panel with my Studio Katia Blending Brushes. Then I flicked a bit of watered down Ground Expresso Distress Ink on to the panel.

Using white glue I adhered the word Cacti on to the panel slightly to the left. I stamped the word Hugs just below the word Cacti on the right side . I added the five images with Studio Katia Double Sided Foam Tape on to the panel. The whole panel was added to a bright green 3 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ folded card base. I finished it off by adding a few of the new Studio Katia Moss Green Pearls using Studio Katia Glue and the Studio Katia Embellishment Wand. I have been obsessed with these new shiny pearls in three different sizes. The tiny ones are my favourite!

Hello Shaker Card with Isha Gupta

Hello everyone! Isha here with you today with a fun shaker card with no-line water color technique. I used all the products from our newest release, if you haven’t checked them yet, please do. You are going to love it 🙂 For today’s card I used Black, White &Rainbow paper, Craftastic stamp and dies, Dotted Patterns set 3 dies along with Vanilla Luster fusion sequins.

I started by creating a white card panel. I then adhered a stripe of rainbow pattern paper to the left side. I then die-cut the oval, sponged scattered straw, spun sugar and tumbled glass distress oxide to it. Adhere it to the card. I also adhered the delicate frame around the oval piece. Stamp the image onto watercolor cardstock using antique linen distress ink. I then colored the image using faber castell watercolor markers and daniel smith watercolors. Let it dry and die-cut it. Die-cut the center to create the shaker. Place the image where it will come on the card and adhere the center die-cut negative piece. Adhere a piece of acetate behind the image. Now add 3D foam all around the opening on the back side. add some sequins and adhere to the cardbase.

Stamp the sentiment and adhere to the card. To finish, add some sequins. Thank you for dropping by!

Slimline Crafty Hugs Friendship Card

Hello, again my Friends, Ilda here!

I am back today with another card featuring products from the New Release. If you missed the news, make sure you click on the link to join the Studio Katia June Release Blog Hop, lots of inspiration and prizes to be won!

I was so excited to see some slimline dies and a 6X6 paper pack in the New Release which has lots of rainbow pattern goodness (which happens to be my favorite). Plus you know I love all things crafty, so I absolutely love the CRAFTASTIC set that I used in today’s card.

CARD DETAILS

To begin this card I actually began by die cutting the cup of crafty tools out first using the CRAFTASTIC DIES. The die is solid which makes it harder to line up with a stamped image. It was designed this way because it cuts inside the stamped area. But by die cutting it first, I now knew where to stamp the image from the CRAFTASTIC set and line it all up.

TIP: If you use the negative piece of the die-cut and line it up in your stamp positioner you can then center the stamp in the die-cut area. Test out the alignment by using a post-it under the die-cut opening, and then once it is lined up, add your die-cut piece back in place and stamp. This is a great way to stamp multiple images for mass production.

I then just colored the images in using Copic markers and stamped the “you inspire me” sentiment on the front of the mug.

Next, I die cut center dotted frame from the DOTTED SLIMLINE – SET 2 and stamped out the sentiments from the CRAFTASTIC set.

I then die cut the scalloped layer using a rainbow pattern cardstock from the new BLACK, WHITE, AND RAINBOW PAPER pack. I taped used 2 pieces of the paper together to create the length for the Slimline Scallop Die that comes again from the DOTTED SLIMLINE – SET 2.

Beneath the scalloped rainbow layer, I also added the largest dotted frame from the DOTTED SLIMLINE – SET 1. I then assembled the card using FOAM TAPE and Studio Katia Glue.

To finish off the rainbow-inspired Slimline Crafty Hugs Friendship Card, I added a variety of pearls in various colors of the rainbow. See links below for all the new pearls.

Video. Large background stamp: stamping and embossing tips

Hello everyone! It’s Galina and I want to share with you some tips and ideas of using large background stamps. For my cards I used a beautiful big stamp called Floral Garden, also I used Floral Wreath stamp set to add some details and sentiments. Full supplie list you can find below.

I love to use a bright colors on my cards and for my first card I used picked respberry, carved pumpkin and mustard seed Distress inks. I heat embossed a large floral image on the ink blended background using super fine detail embossing powder from WOW.

To add more interest to the panel I colored some petals with the same distress inks I used for the ink blending.

With a same stamp I made a heat embossing on the pink card stock. I cut out the panel using scallop rectangle die and put a clear sheet behind the widow. I added heat embossed sentiment on the card base and a lot of pink crystals.

I foam mount the card panel on the card base and my shaker is done. To finish the card I attached a light pink color oval frame on it.

Two tags using DOTTED SHAKER TAG 1. Video

Hello everyone! It’s Galina and today I want to talk about pretty additions to the presents – tags. For today’s tags I used a same tag die – DOTTED SHAKER TAG 1 and some other dies and stamps.

How I made these tags you can watch here or on Studio Katia Youtube channel.

I started with die cut a basic shapes of tags. For the blue tag I used small rectangle die to cut out the window, this rectangle die is included to DOTTED SHAKER TAG 1 die set. For the second tag I decided to cut an oval window using nesting oval die set.

To add interest on the yellow tag I cut out a small piece with hexagons from the light yellow cardstock using MICRO HEXAGON COVER DIE. I stamped and colored with Copic markers a cute little bee. I placed a red crystal heart into her hands. Also I add a heat embossed sentiment.

On a black cardstock I stamped a sentiment using a small stamp from the PEONY TRIMMINGS stamp set, I stamped with a embossing ink and covered it with hite embossing powder. I cut out this sentiment with a coordinating stripe die.

The blue tag is all about crafty wishes 🙂 On the bottom of the central rectangle piece I stamped images from ARTSY TRIMMINGS stamp set, on the top I stamped a sentiment from BIRTHDAY GREETINGS stamp set. I colored images with Copic markers and to finish the tag I added transparent sequins.
