Hello everyone, it’s Galina. Today I want to share with you a fun idea of making a simple geometric card using basic supplies. To create this pattern I used HALFTONE DOTS CIRCLE DIE set.
How to make this card you can watch here or on Studio Katia Youtube channel.
I have cut out a white card panel using a slimline die. You can work with regular a2 card panel. But I love to have more space to play with this technique and a size of slimline panel is a perfect to create a full geometric pattern. Next, I’m going to create my pattern with circles using HALFTONE DOTS CIRCLE DIES. At first, I m going to cut out a biggest circle on the top and the bottom of my panel.
On a white cardstock I applied different colros of distress oxide inks. I cut out thsoe patterns using coordinating circle dies from the same set. I foam mount them behund the panel.
I stamped a sentiment with black ink and using a beautiful birthday stamp set from SK Cardmaking kit. I cut it out with an oval die from SCALLOP OBLONG die set.
To embelish my card I add a few clear crystals.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hi there! It’s Natalia here. Today I want to share with you my card with Happy Pawlidays stamp set.
First I took two panels of white cardstock. I cut out a window in the upper panel using Happy Pawlidays Dies. I inked the lower panel with Distress Inks. I added some splatters to the upper frame panel using colors of the lower panel inking.
I stamped all necessary images, colored with alcohol markers and die cut using coordinating dies. As usual I added some highlights with white and silver pen.
Cut 2 frames out of foam to make a shaker. Filled it with Crystals (Jewels) and Sequins.
Placed all the elements on the paper panel using double-sided foam tape. Heat embossed the sentiment from Happy Pawlidays stamp set using white powder.
Thank you so much for join me today, have a great day!

Happy Fri-YAY, everyone!
It’s Dana here and I’m sharing a galaxy background card today. Here is what I came up with.
I started by stamping Kobi from KOBI THE SUPER BEAR in black. I colored him in with Copic markers and gave some highlight with white gel pen. I die cut Kobi and other pieces for stars and speech bubble using KOBI THE SUPER BEAR DIES.
Then, I created galaxy background by watercoloring. At first, I lightly painted cold pressed watercolor paper with pink, yellow and purple colors. Then, I layered galaxy colors like navy and black from light to dark colors. After it dried, I splattered white pigment ink using paint brush here and there.
I took a speech bubble from first step and softly ink blended it with distress inks. I then heat embossed a sentiment from KOBI THE SUPER BEAR in sparkling silver.
I mounted galaxy background onto A2 sized white card base. Then, I trimmed down two rectangle strips from white card stock and popped them up using foam tape. I foam taped other pieces as well and finished off this card.
Hope you enjoyed this card. Thank you so much for stopping by and happy crafting!
xoxo,
Dana

Hi there,
It’s Kaja from Kajcyika crafts and today I will show you a cute card featuring the one and only Kobi the bear!
Take a look:
I knew I wanted to use Kobi on my cards for a long time, so today I finally decided to use one and show you that you can easily use stamps all over the year even though the stamp sets is mostly Valentine’s day themed. I stared making this card by stamping out a bear from the Kobi’s hugs & kisses stamp set which is as said a valentine’s day themed stamp set, but can be used any time of the year! I colored the image in using alcohol markers and this time I went with gray colored bear.
I didn’t want my bear to hold a normal bouquet, so I stamped a pot flower from Potted plants and colored it in using alcohol makrers. Then, I die cut both images and the great thing is that the Kobi’s die cuts it’s hands out as well, so you can easily put the pot in his hands!
Next I made the background for which I used the Rectengular dots cover on a white piece of paper. I didn’t want to have just a plain white backdrop, so I used Studio Katia ink blending brushes and added soft pink ink over the dotted rectangles in the center. To make sure everything connects nicely, I also added the same ink over the actual card base to get a soft pink edge.
Then, I added a white oval from the Dotted ovals to the center of the card to ensure that my bear will be seen nicely and won’t get lost in the background.
The last think that I added was a sentiment that reads ‘Congratulations’ and can be found in the Peony trimming stamp set. I used a white card stock and black ink, so the sentiment can be read easily and has a bold look to it.
All the elements were done in no time, so the only thing left to do was to glue everything together using double sided foam tape and the liquid glue.
Thank you so much for joining me!
Kaja

Hello Friends, Ilda Here. I hope you are having a wonderful week so far.
Have you had your first snowfall yet? Here in Edmonton, we have and it looks like it may be here to stay. So as the song goes “Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!” and as you can see it was my inspiration for today’s card.
To begin, I began by blending out the background using the SNOWFLAKE STENCIL and a few inks from Ink On 3 with the INK BLENDER BRUSHES.
Next, I stamped out the SNOWFLAKES in a random pattern onto the background using a Sticky Embossing Powder and sprinkled the SPARKLE GLITTER to stick to the areas.
Now that the background was done, I then stamped out one of the cute snowmen from the HAPPY SNOWMEN colored him in using Copics, and then die cut him out using the coordinating dies.
To finish this Happy Card I repeat stamped the sentiment and then die cut it with one of the banners from the PEONY TRIMMINGS DIES, added some glossy accents to the button and the nose.
Hope this cute winter card inspired you today. Thank you for stopping by and until next time… Happy Crafting!
Hugs, Ilda

Hello everyone!
Today I have another winter card to share with you. It’s not a Christmas card, it’s a little note to say thank you using awesome winter stamps and alphabet dies, with which you can create any phrases you want, and combine with sentiment stamps.
How to make this card youcan watch here or on Studio Katia Youtube channel
To create this card I stamped a lot of different snowflakes from the Snowflakes Stamp set using distress oxide inks. On each stamp I applied 2-3 color of ink, I mixed yellow and pinks, green and mint colors. I cut out snowflakes with coordinating dies and paced them on the card paced.
Next I covered all the snowflakes with masking tape and cut out a rectangle panel using a big rectangle die with a round corners from DOTTED PATTERNS SET 3. To create a sentiment I cut out a word SNOW with an alphabet dies from silver mirror cardstock and I combined it with a stamped sentiment.
Have a great day!

Hi there, it’s Tracey back again today with two elegant card designs using just one stencil that would be perfect to mass produce for Christmas. I used two different methods to add elegance to the cards.
I started off by ink blending two 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ panels of Bristol Smooth cardstock. I used the Studio Katia Ink Blender Brushes to blend Distress Oxide Inks on to the panels. I used Tumbled Glass, Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers for the first panel and Scattered Straw, Worn Lipstick and Festive Berries for the second. If you were to use regular Distress Inks your results would be more vibrant. The Distress Oxides inks yield a softer blend. I die cut both panels with the large rectangle die from the Studio Katia Darling Ribbons Frames die set.
After the ink blending was dry I lay the blue panel down on my work surface and placed the Studio Katia Snowflake Creative Stencil on top of the panel in the bottom left of the card front. I taped it down with Post-it tape and ink blended Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide ink from the centre of the stencil out. I used Pixie Spray to add some tac to the back of the stencil to keep it front shifting. After I removed the stencil I put the panel into my spray box and gave it a generous spray of Shimmer Spray. The Shimmer Spray has a beautiful sparkle and because the spray it wet it oxidizes the ink. Both add a lovely texture to the card while keeping it flat for mailing. The sentiment from the Studio Katia Poinsettia Border stamp set was white embossed in the upper right corner once the panel was completely dry.
For the second red panel I once again I used the Studio Katia Snowflake Creative Stencil to ink blend Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide Ink on to the same bottom left bottom left of the card front. I love the way the purple ink pops off the red panel. Once the panel was dry I embossed the same sentiment from the Studio Katia Poinsettia Border stamp set with gold pearl embossing power in the upper right corner. I wanted to add even more elegance and dimension to this card so I added some Studio Katia Gold Foil Pearls to the snowflake using Studio Katia glue.
Two cards created with the same stencil but with a completely different feel just by using brighter and bolder colours along with gold embossing and pearls for added elegance.
Thanks so much for stopping in today and I’ve inspired you to get your stencils out to create some quick and easy cards.

Hello everyone, it’s Galina. Today I awnt to show you a delicate birthday card using Birthday Cardmaking Kit and a frame dies.
I used some materials from Birthday Cardmaking Kit. Such as: stamp with a die, a stencil, blender brush, glue, crystals and gliter. Some of these meterials you can purches separatly I’ll link them below.
If you missed the intro post about this kit with FREE Online Class and a lot of ideas for making Birthday cards CLICK HERE.
I start by applying yellow, pink and blue ink on a white card panel using a blender brush. Next I cut out a rectangle window in the panel using – DOTTED PATTERNS SET 2 and one more smaller rectangle from a white cardstock. On a thin frame I applied liquid glue and covered it with chunky glitter.
Next, I applied yellow and pink inks through the Chunky Sprinkles Stencil. This stencil is not released yet, but you can get it with a kit.
I stamped a cake with black ink, colored it with Copic markers and cut out using coordinating die.
Also, I cut out a little banner from a pink cardstock using a DOTTED PATTERNS SET 2 and I heat emboss my birthday sentiment on it. For the sentiment I used small stamp from another awesome Birthday sentiment stamp set – IT’S YOUR BIRTHDAY.
I embelished my card using colorful crystals from the kit. I picked yellow and pink crystals ans they match perfectly my color combo on the card.

Hi everyone! Laura Volpes here and today I am back to share a super sparkly Christmas card! Stay tuned for a video at the end of this post, too!
The stamp set I used today is the Meowy Halloween stamp set. This was a suggestion I got during one of my latest live streams on the Studio Katia Facebook page!
I used the image for this birthday card and one of the viewers suggested that it would be great for Christmas cards, too! So I took the awesome advice and dressed up my kitty for the holidays!
For the card background I used the Scallop Honeycomb die and cut some watercolor cardstock. I blended Spectrum Noir Harmony Inks in the colors Jet Black, Silent Night, Ocean Blue and Oasis.
I then used the Mandala stencil to add some sparkle to the background. I applied Nuvo Glimmer Paste in the color Moonstone and I set it aside to dry.
I heat embossed some snowflakes and my sentiment using silver embossing powder. Once my background was dry I glued everything to a white card base and that finished off my card!
As promised, here is the video for you! Don’t forget to subscribe to the Studio Katia channel and to join the Facebook live stream today at 2PM ET! Lots of fun and a giveaway, too!
Thank you all for stopping by and have a great day!
Laura
