Hi there,
It’s Kaja from Kajcyika crafts, and today I made a simple floral brithday card!
Take a look:
A lot of times I try to make as much use of a stamp set as I can, so this time I challenged my self to use a Floral cross on a non religious card. I stamped the right part of the image twice on a watercolored paper and then, I colored the flowers in using ZIG markers.
I then trimmed the images on the edge of a cross to get four floral corner images.
Next, I die cut a scalloped rectangle out of a piece of gray card stock for which I used a brand new Dotted patterns #4. The die also makes a cool looking dotted border which was my guide to gluing down my floral corners. I used Studio Katia liquid glue to glue them down, so I could line it up perfectly with the dotted edge.
I then stamped out the ‘Happy birthday’ saying from the Peony trimmings stamp set for which I used green ink that goes with the leaves of the flowers. I popped it up with a piece of white foam tape.
The only thing left to do was to add some embelishments and I used white crystals from the Snow crystals mix. To make the positioning easier, I used the Embelishment wand that Studio Katia just released! It’s a life saver!
Thank you so much for joining me!
Kaja
