Inlaid diecutting Birthday shaker card

by Galina

Hello everyone!

It’s Galina. Today I want to show a birthday card I made using my two favorite techniques. On this card I combined inlaid die cutting with a shaker making using a new Cupcake Shaker die.

How to make this card you can watch here or on Studio Katia Youtube channel.

I cut out an oval panel using Oval nesting dies and inside of this panel I cut out the cupcake shape window. I adhered the acetate sheet and foam tape on the back side of the oval frame. I attached it on the kraft card base with new Rainbow Clay stars inside.

I colored the cupcake parts with Distress inks and Copic markers and adhered them over the acetate window.

To create sentiment I colored a piece of white paper with a dark brown marker and heat embossed the sentiment from the Floral Cake Stamp set. I used fine detailed white embossing powder.

I embellish the card with super cool shiny gemes called SPARKLING ROUND GEMS. I adhered them with Studio Katia liquid glue.

Thanks for stopping by!
