Hello!! Laurie back to share another project!! The weather here in Manitoba has been a bit awful. SOOOO windy!!! So, I spent basically the weekend in my craft room, but I’m not complaining about that!
I made three cards for today’s post but before you say “THREE?!?”, let me tell you how quick and super simple these are. There is basically no colouring and no fussy cutting. Just three stamped images, some embossing powder and some die cutting. That actually does sound like a lot of steps but really, these cards came together quick!
I’m in a bit of an anti-A2 size card lately. You can probably tell from my latest posts 🙂 I’m all about the shaped cards or smaller cards. I used a ton of Studio Katia products for my projects today, so let’s get started!
The first card uses the smallest die from the Stitched Nested Creative Rectangles die set. I cut it out of watercolour paper and heat embossed the large flower image from the Thank You So Much stamp set. I usedMetallic Gold Sparkle from WOW. (Now, I will admit that this technique is not original and comes from one of the biggest crafters around. But I just love the look it gives!) Instead of colouring the inside of the image, I coloured the negative space, or around the image.

I used my Tombow Dual Brush Pens for each of these cards. I simple traced around the images and pulled the colour out with a water brush. To make the card base, I used some Stitched Rectangle dies. I cut two pieces, scored one of them at about 1/2 inch from the top, applied Scor-Tape and adhered the two pieces together. To finish off, I stamped the greeting which comes from the Pink Winter Stamp Set in Versfine Black Onyx ink and and placed one clear droplet of each size from the Clear Round Drops Mix.
The next two cards use the exact same colouring process. This one uses the smallest die from the Stitched Nested Creative Squares Dies, a flower from the Together We Bloom Stamp Set and a mint coloured marker.

This time the card base was created using a set of Stitched Square Dies. The sentiment also comes from the Pink Winter Stamp Set and for embellishments, I used three Clear Hearts.
And finally the last card. This time I used the middle die from the Elongated Dotted Hexagons Creative Dies and stamped another flower image, also from the Together We Bloom set. I chose purple for this one!

I used the same dies for a square base. To embellish, I added some gold thread behind the focal image and a bunch of Sparkling Amethyst sequins. And the sentiment? You guessed it, from the Pink Winter set!

You can see the awesome sparkle of the embossing powder. I think the purple one is my favourite! And here’s a look at all three cards!

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by today!! I hope you enjoyed these super-duper easy cards!!
Until next time…:)
