A Cup of Thanks

August 29, 2019 / CATEGORIES - Coffee Cards, Floral Cards

Hi there! Emily Midgett here with you today sharing some pretty peachy inspiration using the lovely Cup of Thanks stamp set, some Copic coloring, and some light ink blending. Let’s get started with the details!

I began my project by stamping the main image from the Cup of Thanks stamp set on some white cardstock using Copic-friendly black ink. I used a pretty pink, peach, and coral color scheme to add color and shading to the images, also adding a few rose gold polka dots to the teacup itself.

I die cut a Thanks from the coordinating Cup of Thanks die set using black card stock, as well as a white dotted oval from the Nested Oval set. I stamped the greeting from Cup of Thanks on the oval after adhering the floral arrangement to the bottom.

After arranging my die cuts, I used blending brushes to blend a light peach around the edge of a white card base. I adhered the die cuts to the blended panel using foam adhesive, then added a few Onyx Crystals for some sparkle!

Well, that’s all for me today. I received my parcel with the new release products just a bit ago, and I can’t wait to dive right in! I hope you’ll check out all of the fun new goodies! Thanks so much for stopping by today, and have a marvelous day!
