Hey lovelies, Tracy here with you today sharing a card I created using the beautiful Aloha stamp set from the last release.
I love Hibiscus flowers and especially in red so I stamped the largest stamp from the set and coloured it using Spectrum Noir markers. I added some white gel pen detailing and then die cut the piece out using the matching dies.
I put that to one side and trimmed down a piece of Neenah card to 5.1/4″ x 4″ and then used the Brush Strokes Waves stencil along with some Spectrum Noir Pigment ink in gold and sponged it as I didnt want an all over look, I kept checking the die cut piece over the top of the stencil to make sure I had stenciled a big enough area. When I was happy I washed my stencil and stamped the Aloha sentiment from the set.
I added some foam tape behind the floral piece and adhered it to the card and added some gems (listed below) to give some sparkle. I also wanted to tie the gold in a bit more so I trimmed down some gold card to just bigger than the stenciled piece so that it would leave a thin border. I then adhered this to the main piece and to the card base and the card was done.
I really enjoyed creating this card and the stamp was fab to colour.
I hope I have given you some inspiration, thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you have an amazing day.
Happy Crafting
