Hello my dear crafty friends! It’s always a pleasure to be around here. This week I’m sharing this birthday shaker card featuring the Mini Dog Balloons stamp, so cute!!!

In a piece of thick white cardstock, I applied a heavy layer of random ink colours all over the panel. I splattered some water over it and let it dry. I then stamped the doggy balloons using black ink and used the matching die to cut them out.
I selected a sheet of cardstock from the Black on White set, trimmed it to an A2 card size and inked the edges with distress inks in pink, orange, green, blue and yellow. I used the “pocket method” to make the shaker part by using a sheet protector film. I like to adhere only 3 sides first, and then leave the pocket open to add the confetti, which in this case are the pastel rainbow wheels , then I close the last opening of the pocket.

I stamped a sentiment from the mini sending greetings set on blue cardstock with white embossing powder. To assemble the card, I glued the mini doggy balloons and then the sentiment on the side.
I thought this card had already a lot going on so I decided to skip the extra embellishments on the outside.
The good news is that SK has just released these shaker pockets so you won’t have to make them again from scratch!!!
This card ended up being so cool because it’s quite neutral. It can be used for either boy or girl and for a shaker card, is pretty easy to put together. I hope you give it a try!

See you next time. Cheers!!!
