Birthday card with balloons

I want to share with you a super fun and bright birthday card I made using MINI BALLOON DOG stamp set and PARTY BALLOONS Stencil.

  To create a fun card background for the Birthday card I applied distress inks through the PARTY BALLOONS Stencil. Next, I didn’t remove the stencil and applied a Versamark clear ink on some of the balloons. I removed the stencil and covered up the balloons with a shiny embossing powder. I heated the powder and got realistic balloons on the card!   

  Next I stamped the background with small stamps from MINI STARS Stamp set and from IT’S YOUR BIRTHDAY Stamp set. I used the same ink as for the balloons.   

I stamped 3 dog balloons using MINI BALLOON DOG stamp set and colored them with alcohol markers. I foam mounted them over the ink blended balloons.

To finish the card I drew the strings and I added some colorful embellishments – RAINBOW STARS.
