Hello, friends! Olga is here.
Today I’m sharing a festive Birthday card featuring just a bit of stencilling, blending and heat embossing.
I used a fabulous Autumn Leaves Stencil. I think this design can be used not only for autumn cards, but also for winter, spring and summer ones. Everything will depend on your choice of color. For my card, I mixed blue and turquoise shades of ink, because my card is dedicated to a person born in winter.
I sarted to work on this card by making background. And it’s so simple! I just blend inks making the color lighter towards the center onto the light blue cardstock. Next I applied Nuvo glitter paste through the stencil onto my panel.
Then I created a tag that can hold a standard gift tag. For this I used new Slider Tag Die. Here I heat embossed the sentiment using Birthday Greetings stamp set.
I adhered the background panel to A2 white card base, I foam mounted the gift tag panel over it and tied the string on the tag. Also to embellish the card I used Gold Foil Pearls.
I hope you will give this idea a try. Have fun!
