Hey lovelies, Tracy here with you today as we continue this weeks showcasing of the Under The Sea Stamp set from the last release.
I have always loved the sea so got so excited when Katia released this set as it is so much fun.
I started off with the idea of a shaker card but as you can see that didn’t happen ! The background I created with Distress Oxide inks in Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers & Mermaid lagoon. I then added some “sun rays” from the top with squeezed lemonade, although you can hardly see them so I’m not sure id do that again if I was to recreate this card. I added some water splatter for some texture too.
I stamped all the pieces from the set onto some Neenah Solar white and coloured them with Polychromo Pencils and added some white gel pen details after I’d used the co coordinating dies to cut them all out.
For the frame and outer piece I used two of the dies from the Darling Ribbon and Dotted Frame Die set.
I worked out where I wanted all the elements and then heat embossed the sentiment.
I then adhered all the pieces down, using foam tape on a couple for some dimension.
I then added some foam tape to the frame and adhered this to main piece which I then added to a A2 card base.
At this point I decided it still needed something so I went a little bit crazy with the Iridescent bubbles….although I don’t think you can ever have enough of these on a card 🙂
This really is such a fun set and SO much fun to colour and play with.
I hope you like the card I created.

Sweet scene. The background is very pretty. I can see the yellow but not sure I would of noticed if you hadn’t mentioned it. The images are so cute and love the colored pencil work. The added water drops gems really complete the look. I also like the framed die. Always love seeing your creations.
