Hey lovelies it’s Tracy here with you today
I hope 2021 is being kind to you all so far ? Now the festive season is over I need to start working on birthday cards for this year and couldn’t resist using my favourite floral set Japanese Peony, along with my favourite stencil Brush stroke waves

I started off by heat embossing the main image and two of the leaves onto some watercolour card, I wanted a gold theme so I used Simon Says Stamp fine detail gold powder.
I then used Spectrum Noir Aqua pens to do some basic watercolouring on all the peace’s and left to one side to dry.
I cut a piece of watercolour card to A2 size and taped the stencil to the card. I used Nuvo Glimmer paste and applied going from one side of the card to the other with a pallet knife giving a faded effect going across the card.
I then left this to dry overnight

I then used the matching dies to cut the floral pieces out and using foam tape I arranged them on the card, I also heatt embossed a sentiment onto some black card stock and at this point decided to add some black ink splatter, once I was happy with the whole arrangement I adhered everything down and used a black card base to tie it all together and added some Onyx crystals to finish.

Really happy with how this turned out and hope you like it and it’s given you some inspiration.
Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you have an amazing day and happy crafting.
