Welcome to this creative corner at Studio Katia. This is Jyoti from Cardsncraftsnyc. Today, I have a treat for all the card-making enthusiasts out there! Join me as I unveil a breathtaking card creation featuring the finest Studio Katia supplies, brought to life with my skillful techniques. Get ready to immerse yourself in a world of colors, textures, and heartfelt sentiments as I present to you the enchanting “Blooming Beauty” card.
Step 1: Crafting the Canvas
To start this artistic adventure, I took a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2-inch white card stock and set the stage by delicately blending trio of Distress Oxide inks – Salvaged Patina, Victorian Velvet, and Tea Dye. The resulting backdrop was an enchanting gradient of soft hues that would serve as the perfect canvas for my floral masterpiece. I made sure it was dry before my next step.

Step 2: Embossing Elegance
The focus of my creation lay in the splendid Spring Roses stamp from Studio Katia. I stamped the flower using Versamark Watermark embossing ink onto my ink blend. Gilded embossing powder from Brutus Monroe was then applied to the stamped image, transforming it into a captivating vision of elegance. I then die-cut the image using Spring rose die.
Step 3: Coloring with Precision
The true artistry unfolded with a palette of darker shades of the same ink-blended colors. Colored the petals of the flowers with Prisma Color pencils in PC 928, PC 994, PC 1008, PC 956, and PC 992, and golden yellow from Intense pencils number 0230 skillfully blended to create depth and dimension that mesmerized the eye.

Step 4: Stencil Symphony
To enhance the allure of the background, I employed the Hearts Fetty stencil, over the outer die-cut of the flower. Using the same ink colors, I gently blended them over the stencil, for a subtle tone-on-tone effect. The result? A backdrop that highlighted the focal image.

Step 5: Sentiments from the Heart
My “Blooming Beauty” demanded equally heartfelt sentiments. Using the “Very Sweet Sentiments” stamp set and the same gold embossing powder, I embossed a white piece of card-stock with the heartfelt message, “Sending Sweet Wishes.” The soft blend of Salvage Patina and Victorian Velvet added a tender touch, making it the perfect accompaniment to my floral creation.
Step 6: Assembling the Vision
Now, the time had come to bring all the elements together. With finesse, I die-cut the background piece using the second-largest die from the A2 Layers set by Waffle Flowers. Added onto a white card base, it formed the perfect stage for my focal image. With foam tape for dimension, I gently placed the colored flower at the center offsetting a little, ensuring it stood out on my card. Finally, the heartfelt sentiment placed in the bottom right-hand corner, completing the symphony of emotions on my card.

Step 7: A Touch of Sparkle
What’s a masterpiece without a sprinkle of magic? Studio Katia’s Pastel Rainbow sequins were the perfect embellishment to add a touch of shimmer and delight. A final touch that made my creation dance with joy and elegance.
And there you have it – my “Blooming Beauty” card. I hope my artistic journey has inspired you to unleash your imagination and craft your own unique projects with Studio Katia supplies. Until next time, keep crafting and spreading joy with your heartfelt creations!
Hugs,
Jyoti.
