Hello dear friends, as always is very nice to be here.
Today’s project is very simple but very cheerful. I don’t know you but I’m not ready to let summer go, so I created a bright summer theme card using the Asters mini slimline set!

Here are the steps for this card:
-Trim a piece of watercolour cardstock to the size of an A2 card and prepare it with antistatic powder.
-With the help of the stamping platform, stamp the Asters all around the edges. Apply white embossing powder and heat set.
-Proceed to colour the flowers with your watercolour media of your choice. I used watercolour markers.
-I wanted to keep the same layout of the flowers, so I took a photo to place each Aster in the exact same position.
-Use the matching die to cut the flowers.
-Trim a piece of teal blue cardstock to 4 x 5 1/4″ and ink the edges with matching ink (I used Distress Ink Peacock Feathers) to create depth.
-Place the cut Asters around the edges of the teal panel. If you want, foam mount the ones that are on top.

-Stamp and heat emboss a sentiment from Gladiolus stamp set. Once trimmed, foam mount and place in the centre of the flowers.
-Adhere a teal pearl on the centre of each Aster. The embellishment create dimension and give a little sparkle!

As you see, the project itself is very simple but I think it’s the bright colours that make it catchy.

Thanks for visiting. I hope you like the project and that you take inspiration from it.
See you next time!
