Brush Stroke Background With Distress Oxides

May 30, 2017 / CATEGORIES - Cards, CAS

Hi crafty friends,

Svitlana is here today sharing a simple card made using newly released supplies.

SUPPLIES:

Brush Stroke Stripes Stamp Set

Happy Stamp Set

Hearts – Frosted

I used new Brush Stroke Stripes Stamp Set. I stamped the background onto a white panel using Distress Oxide inks.

And then sprayed it with water. I blotted water with a paper towel and let my panel to dry before stamping a sentiment in black using happy word from Happy Stamp Set.

The panel then was adhered onto a white card base. I white embossed the rest of the sentiment onto stripes of black cardstock and foam mounted them onto the panel.

Lastly I added several frosted hearts. I like their matte finish. I think they really match oxides especially.

Have a wonderful day!

Svitlana
