Card backgrouds using clay e,bellishments. Video

October 7, 2021 / CATEGORIES - Birthday Cards, Cards, CAS, Thank You Cards

Hello everyone!

Galina is here and I want to show you how I made the card backgrounds using clay envelopes  and Large polka doe Stencil 🙂

How to quickly and easily embellish the card with small clay embellishments you can watch here or on Studio Katia Youtube channel.

For my first bee-mail card I add envelopes randomly on the ink blended card panel. I cut out the panel using the biggest die from Dotted Patterns set 1. Also I cut out the envelope from whiteand silver cardstock using Envelope Shaker die.

I stamped two bees from the Honey Bees Stamp set and colored them with alcohol based Copic markers. I stamped a sentiment from the same stam set with dark blue ink.

For easier clay envelope positioning use a Stencil with repeatable pattern like – Large Polka Dot Stencil.

You can embellish the card with clay envelopes in different shapes and directions. I made a rectangle frame with envelopes using a Large Polka Dot Stencil as a guid.

And for sure you can create a full pattern of envelopes on a card background.

Thanks for stopping by!
