Christmas card background using one die

by Galina

Hello everyone! It’s Galina. Today I want to share with you another way of how to use cover plate die – HALF STRIPE COVER DIE.

How to make this card you can watch here or on Studio Katia Youtube channel

I start by cutting out two white panel with HALF STRIPE COVER DIE. I flip over one die cut and colored them with red, green and black alcohol markers. I glued two panels together and attached them on A2 gold glitter card panel.

I stamped a beautiful poinsettias using POINSETTIA BORDER stamp set. I colored them with Copic markers: R59, R46, R27, R24, R22, for leaves I used G17, G05, G02 colors. I cut out colored image with coordinating die and foam mount on the card panel. Using a small die from Merry Poinsettia Coordinating Dies Set I cut out a sentiment “Merry”. The second part of the sentiment I heat emboss on red paper with white embossing powder.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

So pretty. Love the gold and the thin strips. Beautiful image and coloring.
