Hello, friends!
Today I’m sharing a simple Christmas card featuring just a bit of stencilling, light blending and heat embossing. This card use our brand new products.
I used a stunning Floral Snowflake Stencil. This is one of the most beautiful designs I’ve ever seen. I think I’ll be using this stencil a lot this year for my Holiday cards and probably even in the years to come. It’s just that pretty.
I started to work on this card by making background. And it’s so simple! I just shaded triangle in dark green ink onto the light green cardstock. That is the silhouette of a Christmas tree turned out. Next I applied white paste through the stencil in different places onto my panel. For quick drying paste I used a hair dryer. lol
Then I did a sentiment panel. For this I used new Slider Tag Die. But I dye cut only one tag from the red cardstock. Here I heat embossed the sentiments using GIFT TAG GREETINGS: WINTER stamp set.
I adhered the background panel to A2 white card base, I foam mounted the sentiment panel over it and tied the string with the pompoms on the tag. Also to embellish the card I used VINTAGE SHIMMER PEARLS. There are very few of them, only two, but it is there and adds a nice finishing touch to the card.
I hope you will give this idea a try. Have fun!
XO
