Hello Everyone,
We have a new Theme Week for you – Christmas Gift Tags! Our designers will bring you lots of inspiring projects over the next days, so make sure to stop by every day. We hope this will help in your last preparations for Christmas. 😉
Hi there,
It’s Kaja from Kajcyika crafts and today we are starting off the November theme week! Hope that you are ready to get some Christmas gift tags inspiration! 😀
Take a look at my tag:
I stamped out gorgeous Merry poinsettia images and I colored them in with ZIG watercolor markers. I used only one red marker and then spread the color around with water brush to get different shades of it.
I always feel like I am not using enough of my pattern papers (that I have many LOL), so I used one in green and die cut my first tag using Dotted shaker tag – 2. Since I was making a Christmas tag, I felt like green and red color suit perfectly.
Next, was the sentiment. I decided to go with a traditional ‘Merry Christmas’ one from Origami winter stamp set. I used my versamark sticky ink and embossed it in white on a black card stock. I die cut it with a rectangle die that is also included in Dotted shaker tag – 2. To finish the black part of the tag off I draw in some white dots around the edge with a white gel pen.
I positioned the poinsettias on the left hand side and the sentiment on the right one, so I was ready to start gluing everything together.
The last thing I added to the card were some sequins from a Tropical forest fusion. I used the liquid glue to put everything together.
I didn’t want to write the message on the back of my tag, so I added a white tag behind the green one and put them together with some black and white thread.
That’s it for today! Thank you so much for joining me! See you next time.
