It’s time for Day 4 of our Theme Week and we are so glad to hear you love all the fabulous projects you have seen so far. Today is no different – enjoy beautiful inspiration from Natalia and don’t forget to stop by tomorrow for more!
Hello, everyone. Natalia is here and I have fun Christmas tags to show you today. I also made a card in the same theme.
There was no question for me, what tags I’ll make, they had to be shakers. Also, I knew what characters will be on my tags – Friends of winter (because of these cuties I decided to make a card – just couldn’t stop).
I stamped Friends of winter with Memento ink and colored them with Touch Twin and Copic Scetch alcohol markers. Then I cut them with coordinating dies. Next, I die cut some tags using Dotted Shaker Tag – 2, 3 with windows and 3 without. I blended tag bases with Distress inks to match colors of each character and die cut 3 panels with a window for each tag from thick cardstock to add volume to the shaker. I adhered all panels together with adhesive tape after filling the shaker with 3MM Majestic Sequins and Clear Dust Seed Beads – I use these in almost every shaker I make. I also added some Snowflakes; Crystal Rainbow Confetti; Crystal Clear Confetti; Majestic Confetti. I heat embossed a sentiment on each tag using silver embossing powder.
And here’s the card I made inspired by gift tags.
I stamped the same three characters for the card, as well as Christmas tree and gifts from Winter Kobi set, colored them with alcohol markers and die cut with coordinating dies.
I wasn’t sure what die to use for my shaker, since these characters are quite big. I decided to use one of my favorite dies – Stitched Creative Window. I took frame die from Darling Ribbon & Dotted Frames and cut the base with it. Then, using Distress inks, I ink blended backs of the future windows. I heat embossed some white snowflakes on the background, too. Silver heatmembossed sentiment is from the Origami Winter set.
I die cut 3 panels from thick cardstock, using Stitched Creative Window die to add volume to the shaker and adhered them all after filling shaker windows with same embellishments I used for the tags. I adhered elf and deer onto my shaker, so it would look as if they are peeking out from windows. In the middle window I adhered Christmas tree and gifts and mounted Santa onto a foam tape for more dimension.
Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
