Hey lovelies, Tracy here with you today sharing a easy clean and simple card idea which is not only easy enough to batch make your card, but also is another way to use stamps.
I started off by creating a tree/triangle and cutting it out of some paper, If you have a die this shape use that, but I used a craft knife. I also made sure that I used good quality printer paper, the reason being is card could have caused problems with getting an even stamp impression and thin paper the ink could sink through.
I then trimmed down some Neehnah card and positioned the template over the card and secured with some low tack tape. I used the Snowflakes stamp set for these card along with Spectrum Noir Quick Drying Ink pads. I started off by using a bright red.
I started stamping the snowflake in the bottom corner and worked upwards, making sure to stamp off centre to make it seem less uniform.
Then remove the template and you are left with the above. I repeated the step on 3 cards, each time using a different snowflake and a different colour ink, for one the stamping seemed to get lost as the colour was quite pale, so using one of Studio Katias Blending brushes I blended over the template.
Once they was all stamped I die cut the panels out using the outer die from the Scallop Hearts Cover Die. For the sentiment I used a setiment from the Poinsettia Trimmings stamp set and stamped under the “tree” . I then stuck them all to card bases using foam.
To add some finishing touches I add an Iridescent Star to the top of each one, and also added some detailing with metallic markers.
This was an idea I am glad worked out as it can be used in so many different ways for many different occassions.
Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you have a great day.
Happy Crafting.
