Hey lovelies, Tracy here with you today sharing a fun card using products from the latest release.
I have to say the latest release was possibly my favourite one yet, what about you ?
I really wanted to use the new Rectangular Dots Cover Die because I love texture in a background but find sometimes some dies are too much and I knew this would be perfect. OF COURSE I had to ink it in rainbow colours so I used my Spectrum Noir inkpads along with the Ink Blender Brushes to create the background, I also added some water splatters and blotted it off to give it a little extra something and then left it to one side to dry fully.
I then stamped out the cute Mini Birthday Stamp set and coloured it using Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers. I couldnt decide what flavour the cakes should be so I went for 3 different flavours 🙂 – Vanilla, Chocolate and Devils, Hey if i am eating a 3 tier cake and can all 3 flavours then i’m gonna.I then used the matching die to cut the yummy cake out.
I wanted to add some sparkle so I used clear sparkle pen on the candles and icing.
For the sentiment I stamped out congratulations from the new Trimmings Sayings and cut it out using one of the co ordinating dies, I then used the same die and cut a piece of gold glitter card so I could add a glittery drop shadow.
I then die cut the inked piece and adhered all the card together, for some dimension I used SK Foam tape on the cake and sentiment.
I couldnt resist adding some embellishments so I used my go to Majestic Fushion mix and then added a couple of the Gold Crystal Gems in the centre of a couple of the Sequins.
I love how this turned out and highly recommend the Die and stamp set.
Thank you all so much for stopping by today. I hope you all have an amazing day, Stay safe and happy crafting.
