Hi there,
It’s Kaja from Kajcyika crafts and today I have prepared a simple new home card. 🙂
Take a look:
When I first saw the Whimsical town stamp set I imediatly got the idea for this card and now I finally made the idea come true!
I decided to stamp out 3 houses from the set and put them in the center of the square piece of paper. I added some trees, stairs and even a garbage bin and then I colored everything using alcohol markers.
Next, I used blender marker to make some clear dots in the blue background, but I felt like the dots weren’t enough, so I added some glossy accents glue over them to make them pop just a bit. The glue dries clear and it gives just enough interest to the background. If you want to add even more dimension you can use Clear round drops which give a really nice finished look.
After my glue was dry I die cut my scene using Dotted patterns: Scalloped square. I love the scalloped border, so I die cut another square using the same die and a white card stock, but I just used the thin border you see around the main panel.
The only thing left to do was to stamp and glue down the sentiment. I used ‘congratulations!’ that can be found in Whimsical town stamp set and I stamped it on a white cardstock that I cut down to a small banner. I popped it up using double sided foam squares.
Then, I glued the scalloped square down using double sided tape and this finished up the card.
That’s it for today! Thank you so much for joining me! See you next time.
