Happy Monday, everyone!
It’s Dana here from Dana G.crafts. I’m coming back with summer shaker card again (hope you don’t resist it!) featuring Under the Sea stamp set.
To begin, I started by coloring Under the Sea images with Copic markers. I applied glitters and glossy accent to each of them and set them aside for next step.
I die cut square panel and shaker window using Scallop Square. Then, I added foam tape as shown in the picture to build a shaker. For shaker elements, I used March Crystals, April Crystals and Blue Sky Fusion.
I always thought about shaker background for a long time. And I recently found vellum makes the best result for me. It fade background nicely and also blended very well with any inks, so it saves loads of time. So, I took a piece of vellum and sponged it with distress oxide inks. I splattered some clean water and let it dried. Then. I put it down on foam tape and mounted whole panel on a card base.
I then stamped sentiment from Best Friends Stamp Set and coated it with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew. To finish, I mounted all pieces where I wanted them and embellished with Summer Fusion.
Hope you enjoyed this card. Thank you so much for joining me today!
