Cute and simple Christmas card with Kaja

by Kaja

Hi there,

It’s Kaja from Kajcyika crafts here with you today and what is a better way to start a week than with cute Christmas card?

Take a look at what I created:

Christmas is aproaching with lightning speed, so I must admit that my card are getting simpler and simpler each week in order to get all of them done.

I started making this card by coloring a deer from Friends of winter stamp set and three trees from Holiday village set. I decided to go with a alcohol markers as a coloring medium, since I love the clean look it gives.

Next, I used a Light ray stencil in the top left corner to get a bold background. I used distress oxide in Broken china first on the stencil and then I removed the stencil and used new Studio Katia brushes to add some light blue next to the rays.

The only thing missing on this card was a sentiment, so I stamped ‘Merry Christmas’ from Gift tag greetings: Winter. I wanted a clean look, so I used white paper and black ink.

I glued everything together using double-sided foam tape and Studio Katia glue and the card was finished!

Thank you so much for joining me!

Kaja
