Theme Week | Easter Cards – Day 5 with Laura

March 16, 2018 / CATEGORIES - Easter Cards, Floral Cards

Hi everyone! It’s Laura here, with an Easter card featuring the Floral Cross Clear Stamp Set and the Script Easter die.
To start off this card I created the front frame: and the frame inserts: I used the the Dotted Patterns: Darling Ribbon Creative Dies to cut some vanilla cardstock to an A2 size, and one of the dies in the the Dotted Patterns: Set 2 Creative Dies  to create three rectangular windows on this panel. I then used this same die to cut three panels from some kraft cardstock.

Next, I stamped the images in the Floral Cross Clear Stamp Set set on the corners of two of the kraft cardstock rectangles. I used brown ink for the stamping, and colored in the flowers with Prismacolor pencils.
I cut the word “Easter” out of some brown cardstock using the Script Easter die, and I cut two banners with another die from the Dotted Patterns: Set 2 Creative Dies, one from vanilla cardstock, and one from brown cardstock.

I stamped the word “blessings” from the Floral Cross stamp set on the vanilla banner using brown ink, and then glued all the elements to an A2 card base.
I have to say, had a lot of fun creating this card and trying to find a creative way to use this beautiful floral set. And by changing the sentiment you can stretch the use this set even beyond Easter cards! Isn’t it great?
And that’s it for today! I really hope you like this card and I hope I inspired you to create with the gorgeous Floral Cross Clear Stamp Set. Thank you all so much for stopping by, and have a great day!

Laura, your card is sensational! I’ve surpassed ‘like’ and gone straight to ‘love’! The composition of your card is absolutely amazing; you’ve certainly showcased yet another way to use this Floral Cross image!
