Easy Shaker Card with Laura

Hi everyone! It’s Laura here and today I am back with an easy shaker card featuring the Paws for Kindness stamp set. There is also a video at the end of this post, showing the entire process!

I started by die cutting some watercolor cardstock to create my shaker. For the base I used the Darling Ribbon and Frames dies, for the top panel I used the Dotted Patterns set 4 dies and for the shaker window I used the Shaker Heart die.

I did some ink blending on the shaker base with my Studio Katia blending brushes and Spectrum Noir Harmony Ink in the Color Fuchsia. I also did some ink blending with the same ink and the Love For Paws stencil on a separate piece of watercolor cardstock. This will be the shaker background.

For my shaker elements I used Majestic Glitter and Chunky Sparkle Glitter.

The image I used on today’s card is part of the Paws for Kindness set. I stamped it with Spectrum Noir Black alcohol proof ink, colored it with Illustrator Markers and die cut it with the coordinating dies.

T-Shirt: LV3, HB3, HB2, HB1
Shorts: TB9
Shoes: VB3, VB1
Cat: BO4, BO3, BO1, GY2
Dog: GY5, GY3, GY1, BO4, BO3, BG3

For the sentiment I used one of the dies in the Lovely Word Dies to cut some black cardstock. I embellished the card with some Iridescent Heart Crystals and a bit of sparkle from a Scrapbook.com Glitter Brush pen.
