For this project, we’ll be crafting a lovely A2-sized card featuring an enchanting butterfly design. To begin, gather your materials, including Butterflies Stamp Set – Studio Katia, watercolor markers (I used Karin markers), a white A2 watercolor (Canson) card panel, a Heart confetti stencil – Studio Katia , red distress ink, black cardstock, white embossing powder, liquid glue, and some matching color pearls from Studio Katia.
Step 1: Color the Stamp Butterflies: Using watercolor markers, color the butterfly stamp with two or more vibrant hues.
Step 2: Stamp the Butterfly Background: Press the colored stamp onto the white A2 watercolor card panel to create a stunning background with butterflies of different sizes.
Step 3: Add Heart Confetti Stencil: Place a heart confetti stencil over the background and gently apply red distress ink through it to add a scattering of hearts between the butterflies.
Step 4: Heat Emboss the Sentiment: Stamp the chosen sentiment on black cardstock using embossing ink, sprinkle white embossing powder, and heat it until melted to create a raised sentiment.
Step 5: Embellish with Colorful Pearls: Attach matching colored pearls strategically using strong liquid glue to add dimension and elegance to the card.
