Hello everyone! It’s Laura here, with a fall-themed shaker card card I made using stamps and dies from the Studio Katia shop.
To start off my card I stamped some of the images in the Foxes stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I colored them with Spectrum Noir markers, and I die cut them using the dies that coordinate with the set. For my card base I cut some brown cardstock using one of the dies in the Darling Ribbon & Dotted Frames Creative Dies, and for the front of my shaker I cut some Neenah Desert storm cardstock using the Dotted Patterns Set – 1 Creative Dies. I also used the second largest die from the Dotted Ovals Creative Dies to cut a window in my shaker front, and I stamped the “Let’s snuggle” sentiment from the And the Fox Says set using Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa. I used again the oval die from the Dotted Ovals Creative Dies set to cut some watercolor cardstock for the background of my shaker, and I added color to it using Distress Inks in Fired Brick, Wild Honey, Fossilized Amber and Scattered Straw.
I then covered the back of my shaker window with some clear acetate, and used a double layer of foam tape to glue it to my card front, so that the sequins would have enough room to move around. I used the Crystal Clear Fusion sequin mix – I love how sparkly they are, and how they pick up the warm colors of the background! And that’s my card for today! I really hope you like it, and I hope I inspired you to create with the beautiful Foxes and And the Fox Says stamp sets.
Thank you all for stopping by, and have a great day,
