Hi there,
It’s Kaja from Kajcyika crafts here on Studio Katia blog today and I have made a floral Birthday card that I will share with you.
I decided to go with simple yet bold design. First, I colored the Spring bouquet image with ZIG markers, since I just love the watercolored look of the flowers. Then, I die cut it with the coordinating die to give it a beautifully cut edge.
Next, I die cut an oval out of white catdstock using biggest die from Dotted ovals and decided to put a ‘Birthday wishes’ sentiment from Blooming bunch stamp set in the top right.
I stamped the sentiment slightly at an angle so it’s fits perfectly with the edge of my flowers.
For the background I used Distress ink in Aged mahogany color with the Conffeti stencil. The color coordinates nicely with colors I used to color the flowers.
Before I glued everything together, I added Clear round drops on top of some stenciled dots to give them some dimension. Then, I glued everything together using foam tape and this finished off the card.
That’s it for today! Thank you so much for joining me! See you next time.
