What a fantastic release this one has been ! what is your favourite item ? I simply cannot pick one and think Katia has done an AMAZING job with this release.
This week the design team are showcasing the Floral Cross from the new release. This is a very pretty stamp and as Erum showed it looks amazing when not coloured.
I wanted to create a fairly clean and simple design and I coloured the Floral Cross using Polychromo pencils.
I stamped and coloured the stamp onto some white card and then I used the new Simple Dotted Borders dies, I have used the straight one that also cuts and used it along each edge of the piece.
I then stamped the sentiment Easter Blessings which comes with the Floral Cross Stamp using Clear ink and then heat embossed it with white detail embossing powder. I also decided to add some extra detailing with a white gel pen.
Once that was all done I adhered it to a light blue card base…I will confess once I did this I nothing an ink stain and it wouldn’t budge even with my sand eraser so out come the Majestic Confetti 🙂

Your floral cross is gorgeous! As for the ink stains…just an opportunity for some ‘design innovation’ in adding some pretty confetti! Excited for my set to arrive…I’ll definitely be drawing inspiration from you when I take to colouring mine.
