Floral Snowflake Christmas Card with Olga

Hello-hello, my friends! Olga Moss is here with you today.

My today’s card features a stunning background with new Floral Snowflake Stencil. I also think that this stencil would work great to decorate your windows or walls for Christmas. This card design is easy to make and easy to mass-produce should you need multiples.

I started to work on this project by making background. Here I blended two shades of purple moving from the edge to the center. Next, I applied golden glitter paste through the stencil onto my panel.
To lighten the color of the paste a little and add some shimmer, I sprinkled some new Sparkle glitter on top. The main thing is to do it quickly while the paste is still wet. This glitter is rather amazing for Christmas projects such as this one. It is easy to work with and it looks simply stunning.

With the paste applied to the background, I set the panel aside to dry and started to work on a sentiment. I heat embossed the sentiment from the new Gift Tag Greetings: Winter Stamp Set using white embossing powder on black cardstock. By the time I was done with sentiment my background panel has had enough time to dry, I adhered it to an A2 white top folding card base.

Next, I foam mounted the sentiment panel in the center of the card. To add more gold to this project I used Gold Foil Pearls.

I love simple card design like this. It feel very classy to me, and very eye-catching and beautiful at the same time. I hope you like this card idea!
