Hey Friends, Ilda here!
Today I have a fun shaker card to share with you. If you have been participating in Kathy Racoosin’s Daily Marker Challenge you may have seen this coloring before as I had shared it on my IG page. I just finally turned it into a card.
To begin, I stamped out the flowers from the FLORAL WREATH onto a piece of Bristol paper using watermark ink and then heat set it with a Champagne colored embossing powder.
Next, I used various shades of purple Zig Clean color markers to color in the flowers.
I then die cut the panel using the frame from the DARLING RIBBON AND FRAMES DIES. For the center circle cut, I used the FANCY CIRCLE DIES, this left a coordinating dotted edge around the window.
To the back of the panel, I glued on a piece of ACETATE to build the shaker window.
For the shaker, I used the LUMINOUS LAVENDER Sequins as they coordinated well with the purples of the card.
The happy birthday sentiment comes from the FLORAL WREATH. I stamped it using Wilted Violet Oxide ink and then cut and slid the strip to fit in the opening.
The Scripted Friend Die comes from the SPRING BOUQUET DIES that I die cut and inked up with watermark ink and the heat set it using Persian Indigo Embossing Glitter then topped it with a layer of Clear embossing powder. To dot the “i” I used a GOLD FOIL PEARL.
Hope this Floral Wreath Birthday Shaker Card inspired you today. Thank you for stopping by and until next time… Happy Crafting!
