Halloween Scene Card with Laura

by Laura

Hi everyone! It’s Laura here, and today I am here to share with you a fun Halloween scene card and a video tutorial which shows how to make it.
The stamp sets I used are  Monster Bash and Whimsical Town. All the images were stamped with black hybrid ink by Scrapbook.com and colored with Spectrum Noir Aqua markers.
Once the coloring was over, I die cut them with the coordinating dies.

I then started creating my scene. I die cut some light blue cardstock with the rectangle die in the Dotted Patterns Set 3 dies to create my sky. I blended some Distress Oxides over the panel to add darkness and create a night sky.
I created some clouds with white pigment ink and a stencil I created by die cutting some white cardstock with the cloud die in the Sky Set Borders. To finish off the sky, I added some stars with my Gansai Tambi  Starry Colors and a small paintbrush.

For the road and the hill, I die cut some gray cardstock with the Dotted Patterns Set 3 dies first, and then with the Simple Dotted Borders. I added some shading with Distress Oxide in Black Soot.
I mounted everything on a black card base, that I die cut with the Darling Ribbon and Frames dies. The moon was created out of yellow cardstock with the Sky Set Borders.

I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder over black cardstock and rounded the corners of the sentiment banner with my Corner Chomper. I finished off my card with some details added with a Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Pen, a white gel pen and some Glossy Accents.

And that’s it for today! If you liked this fun Halloween scene card and want to see how you can create it too, make sure to watch the video down below! And don’t forget to subscribe to the Studio Katia channel for more cardmaking and papercrafting videos!

Have a wonderful day
