Happy Monday, everyone!
It’s Dana here and I hope you had a lovely weekend. Today, I’m sharing a sweet honey bee card and here is what I came up with.
To start, I dry embossed an A2 sized white card stock with Micro Hexagon Cover Die. I then die cut it using Fancy Scallop Hearts Dies and ink blended the piece using dye inks and Ink Blender Brushes.
I’m so in love with these blenders and even I can’t imagine how I’ve distressed my cards so far without them!
Next, I stamped Honey Bees and colored them in with Copic and alcohol markers.
I gave highlights and shiny effect to some of them with white gel pen and clear sparkling pen. I then die cut all of them using Honey Bees Dies.
For background, I die cut an A2 sized white card stock using Scallop Honeycomb Cover. I then stamped ‘xoxo’ from Gift Tag Greetings : Valentines using light grey dye ink as shown in the picture.
I took a piece of yellow paper and die cut it with label die from Peony Trimmings Dies. I then heat embossed a sentiment from Honey Bees in silver.
To finish off, I assembled all elements using Glue and popped up heart panel using Double Sided Foam Tape-White.
Hope you enjoyed this card. Happy crafting!
Dana
