Hello crafters! Olga Moss is here. For today I made a Happy Pawlidays card. I played with three stamp sets from the last release called HAPPY PAWLIDAYS, SNOWFLAKES and LOTS OF GIFTS TRIMMINGS. So when I saw these sets I thought it was perfect to combine them together. Therefore, I created the atmosphere of a festive new year’s room. Where the walls are decorated with snowflakes, prepared a lot of gifts, and as decorations hang flags with the image of the owners of this room. Everything is exactly the same as we do, isn’t it?
First I prepared the background. I stamped 1 of 2 borders with gifts or as we like to call them trimmings from the LOTS OF GIFTS TRIMMINGS stamp set. I also duplicated the image on the masking paper, so I could cut it out and use it as a cover. Then I created an ink blended background with green ink, moving smoothly from dark to light. I also stamped a lot of snowflakes on the top using a SNOWFLAKES stamp set. To add more texture I splattered background with white gouache.
Then I stamped our furry friends from the HAPPY PAWLIDAYS stamp set. And I cut out five faces in the shape of flags using mini banners from the SLIDER TAG DIE.
Next was the time to prepare a fun part of the card. I removed the masking paper from the images in the background and colored them. I also colored the banners with Copic markers. I added my banners in the background with foam tape and stitched them with a white cord. Next I white heat embossed sentiment “Happy Pawlidays”.
To decorate the card I put glue on the bottom and sprinkled with FROST GLITTER.
Thank you so much for joining me!
Olga
