Happy snowmen with Kaja

Hi there,

It’s Kaja from Kajcyika crafts and these days I am making a lot of Christmas cards. I made this one with an awesome Studio Katia new release!

Take a look:

First, I stamped out the images from Happy snowman stamp set. I decided to make a scene using them, so I used masking technique to get some extra dimention. Once everything was stamped I used alcohol markers to color it in.

For the background I decided to use ink blending technique since Studio Katia recently released ink blending brushes that I was dieing to use! I decided to go with blue shades of distress oxides.

After the inkblending was done, I took a scalloped ractangle from a Scalloped frames die set and die cut it. I wanted to use one of the new dies as well, so I took the Mini polka dots cover die and use it on a top portion of the rectangle to make it look like snow.

I added the sentiment that reads ‘Merry Christmas’ and can be found in Poinsetia border stamp set which has some awesome and bold sentiments.

Then, I finished the card off by glueing everything together using Studio Katia glue and double sided foam tape.
