Have An Ice Day with Tracy

Hey lovelies, Tracy here with you today and this week the team are showcasing  the latest Kobi Stamp sets.

I love Kobi, not only are his sets fun to use but he is also fun to color, but I actually decided not to use Kobi today and instead use the super cute penguins from Kobi’s Ice Day Stamp Set.

I rarely create tags, I am not sure why because whenever I do I really enjoy creating them, so today I also used the Dotted Shaker Tag 3 die set.

I started off stamping the penguin stamp 3 times along with the head and ear muffs and coloured them using Spectrum Noir Markers.

I then die cut the tag from some blue card stock and using the snowflake stamp set I stamped all over the tag using white dye ink, You can use white pigment ink as that shows up a lot more, but I wanted it to be very subtle so I went for dye ink.

I then die cut the snow hills using Trimmings Borders die. I stamped the sentiment using black ink to add some contrast and then started to assemble the tag. I popped one of the hills up using foam tape for some dimension and couldn’t resist adding some of the gorgeous Iridescent Ice Flakes.

If you haven’t seen Katia now has her own glue and it is AMAZING ! I am VERY fussy when it comes to liquid glues but love how this performs and it was used for this tag. I’d highly recommend it.

Once the tag was done I added some white dots to the holly hat just because it looked a bit too dark against the rest of the tag.

These penguins are so cute and fun. I am also loving this tag die as it is a practical size and I am going to be using it to create all my holiday tags this year 🙂
