Holiday Village with Rubeena

November 13, 2018 / CATEGORIES - Other

Good morning, Studio Katia friends! Rubeena here with a card that’s so fun. I used Holiday Village to create a fun winter scene.

I started by stamping the images from the set several times on watercolor paper. I colored them with Daniel Smith Extra Fine Watercolors and die-cut them with the coordinating dies. For the base, I stamped the snowflakes on watercolor paper with clear embossing ink and heat-embossed in white. I watercolored a night sky and then added white paint splatters once it dried. I adhered the panel to my folded card base.

For the sentiments, I stamped “holiday wishes” and “from our home to yours” on kraft cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat-embossed in white. I trimmed it down and mounted it over the panel.

I arranged the images over the background with foam tape for dimension. How cute, right?!

I hope you were inspired to create today. Thanks so much for stopping by! 🙂
