Hello friends! Olga is here. You know, there was so many great products in our last release, I had hard time (but so much fun) choosing what to use for my next card. My today’s card showcases the new HONEYCOMB SHAKER DIE. How cool is it! I love using this shaker die!!
I cut out one whole window for the shaker and three single ones (I just cut off the extra parts) and assembled them into shakers, using ACETATE SHEETS and filled them with CARMINE RED CRYSTALS, GOLD FEVER CONFETTI, CRYSTAL RAINBOW SEQUINS and GOLD DUST SEED BEADS. I adhered these designs on the background and now it looks like honeycomb.
I used the Sage and Orange Peel Catherine Pooler Premium Die Inks with Mustard Seed and Antique Linen Distress Inks to create my background here.
Next, I stamped the images from the HONEY BEES stamp set in black hybrid ink and colored with copic markers. Then, I die cut out the images with coordinating dies.
I heat embossed a sentiment in white from PEONY TRIMMINGS onto kraft card stock. I used the PEONY TRIMMINGS DIES to die cut this thin fishtail strip.
