I love you – Using scraps

April 17, 2019 / CATEGORIES - Other

Hey lovelies, Tracy here with you today sharing a card I created that is a great way to use up those scraps.

I have used glitter card scraps but any will work.

I started off trimming down a piece of white card stock and then using the Sweet Heart Candy die I die cut 6 heart windows.

I then trimmed another piece of card down to be slightly smaller and covered it in adhesive. I then took the thin scrap pieces I had (if yours aren’t like this then just trim them down, it doesn’t have to be exact) and adhered them going diagonally across the piece of card. Once this was done I trimmed off any excess.

I then took a sentiment from the Jawsome stamp set and stamped it at the bottom of the card. The next step I adhered the glittered piece behind the hearts, making sure to line it all up correctly.

I then created an a2 top folding note card and used some foam tape to adhere the panel to the card. I was tempted to add some gems or sequins but wanted the glitter pieces to be the focal point so I decided not to.

This was a fun card to make and is GREAT for using up those scrap, it can be done with most dies so why not have a look through your dies and see what you can create.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you have a great day.

Happy crafting.
