Hey lovelies, It’s Tracy with you today sharing my latest design team card.
Valentines day is very nearly here (It’s scary how quick time flies) and although me and hubs don’t do Valentines, but I do really enjoy creating projects for it.
I know a lot of people out there aren’t colourists so I wanted to do a non colouring card using the beautiful Scallop Hearts Cover Die.
No you are not seeing things, I Inkyfingers And Ribbon did infact make a shaker card !! I love cover dies as that make Shakers SO much easier.
I started off by diecutting some Neenah and then I trimmed a second piece just a bit smaller. I used the awesome Ink Blender Brushes and Spectrum Noir Harmony Ink and inked both pieces off, giving it a bit of an ombre look. I then added some water droplets and let it dry.
Whilst that was drying I took the die and die cut some gold glitter card. I also created a top folding A2 card.
Once dry I stamped the beautiful sentiment from theLovely Blooms Stamp set. I then assembled the shaker, starting off with adding some thick Acetate and Foam tape. I was going to use sequins but decided to use Gold Crystals instead. The piece of card I inked up I adhered so it was the backer piece of the shaker card.
I decided to fill one of the hearts with the gold card and for the rest of the hearts I used just the outline pieces.
I love how this turned out, I might even break the habit and give hubs a Valentines day card !
Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you have an amazing day.
Happy Crafting and pssst you might want to check back on 27th because word is there may be some new goodies…..
