Hi there it’s Tracey back again. Today’s botany lesson includes the sweet Potted Plants Stamps, Potted Plants Dies, Cactus Hugs Stamps and Cactus Hugs Dies.

The Scallop Honeycomb Die was cut from Bristol Smooth cardstock. Then I selectively blended the Grid Stencil on to the scallop using Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink with the Studio Katia Ink Blender Brushes.

Images from both the Potted Plants stamp set and the Cactus Hugs stamp set were stamped and coloured with the following Copic markers:
E33, E34, YG03, YG17, BG000, BG11, BG63

The sentiment is from the Birthday Greetings Stamp Set and it was white embossed on to black cardstock strip that was cut with the Halftone Lines Die. I try to keep white and black cardstock strips cut from the Halftone Lines Die handy for when I need them for a sentiment. It makes the job so much easier when you have one ready to use.

To put the card together I matted my card front with aqua cardstock. Then I attached the stenciled Scallop Honeycomb Die using White Double Sided Foam Tape. I attached the plants to the scallop panel with Studio Katia Glue and the Aloe Vera was attached with White Double Sided Foam Tape. The sentiment was added with Studio Katia Glue.

The finishing touch was to add a few Bora Bora Pearls to the scallop panel using the Studio Katia Embellishment Wand.
