Lots of Gifts Slider Tag with Liliya

Happy Friday, everyone!
I had so much fun playing with the Slider Tag Die Set. It’s a great set with lots of dies, but for today’s post I only used the dies I needed to put a slider together.

First, I started working on my focal point. I stamped Kobi from KOBI BEARING GIFTS and coloured him with alcohol markers. I added some accents on the gifts with silver and gold gel pens. I die cut it out with coordinating die.

I die cut out the front of the tag and the inside tag out of white cardstock. For the back part of the tag I picked dark teal cardstock, and die cut out reinforcers out of the same cardstock.

I stamped images from Lots of Gifs Trimmings stamp set on the top part of the tag. I also stamped the gifts border on the bottom of the inside part and a sentiment from GIFT TAG GREETINGS: WINTER.

I decided to keep the colouring simple, otherwise the tag would turn out to be too busy, and only coloured some accents on the gifts using the same colours of alcohol markers that I used on the gifts carried by Kobi. To tie the white top with the rest of the tag I ink blended the edges of the tag using Studio Katia INK BLENDER BRUSHES and Peacock Feathers Oxide Ink which matched the teal cardstock perfectly.

I assembled the tag using strong double sided tape and adhered Kobi to the moving part of the tag, making sure to glue him to the bottom part only. I also used silver and golden embroidery thread to make twine for the tag.

I left the inside of the tag plain – a spot to write a personal message.

I hope this will give you some ideas for creating your own Slider Tags. And this kind of tag would be perfect for any occasion really.
