Hello everyone!
It’s Dana from Dana G.Crafts and I’m back with another post for Studio Katia. For today’s project I’ve picked 3 products from our latest release and here is what I came up with.
To begin, I stamped Studio Katia Lovely Blooms onto bristol paper with Versafine Onyx Black. I colored it with Zig Markers using waterbrush and cut it out with scissors. I took a piece of black cardstock and stamped a sentiment from Studio Katia Japanese Peony with Versamark Ink. Then, I white heat embossed it with heat tool and let it aside to get into next step.
Next, I sandwiched Studio Katia Halftone Dots Cover, A2 sized white card stock and embossing pad between cutting pads and ran them through my die cutting machine to dry emboss it. This is my favorite technique using cover die and I love how it turned out nicely at this time as well.
After dry embossing, I die cut it again with Studio Katia Stitch Borders. Actually, I’m all thumbs when it comes to needle and this is the reason why I haven’t tried any stitching to my cards. But Studio Katia Stitch Borders has various size of stitch panels and borders and it encouraged me to do it! It was big challenge for me, but back stitching with pretty ombre pink threads was not too bad for my first time:)
I mounted flower bouquet and sentiment as shown with glue tape. I then embellished it with Studio Katia Summer Fusion and finished off this card.
Hope you enjoyed this card and got some inspiration. Thank you for joining me today!
