Mandala Thank You Card with Laurie

July 31, 2017 / CATEGORIES - Cards, Floral Cards, Thank You Cards

Hello everyone!! Laurie here with today’s project!  Can you believe it’s the last day of July??!  Summer is going by way too quickly!  Pretty soon we’ll all be working on Christmas cards!  But let’s not think about that right now!
For today’s card I used the Mandala Flower Stamp and Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers.  This is one of my all time favourite stamps from SK. It is so simple yet elegant.  Paired with these markers, it’s definitely a winner.

SUPPLIES:
Mandala | Clear Stamp Set
Thank You So Much | Coordinating Dies
Darling Ribbon & Dotted Frames | Creative Dies
Pink Lemonade Fusion
I started by heat embossing the image in white onto a piece of watercolour paper.  I chose 3 shades of pink, two shades of blue and a yellow.  This flower takes no time at all to colour!
I used the fancy frame die from the Darling Ribbon and Dotted Frames out of the same watercolour paper.  I then fussy cut my flower out.  The sentiment comes from the Thank You So Much Bundle which I also cut from the same paper and used one of the pink Zig markers to colour it.  As I was getting ready to assemble everything, I decided the ivory cardbase looked a little to plain.  I stamped the Mandala Flower repeatedly on the base and heat embossed it in white.  It’s very subtle but gives great texture!

That’s it for me today!  I hope you enjoyed!  Have a fabulous week…
Laurie
