It’s Kaja and I am Studio Katia design team coordinator. We haven’t done a proper introduction of the team in a while so we decided it’s finally time to showcase our team!
I asked our ladies to introduce themselves so here is what they say:
My name is Monica and I’m the person behind Needle & Paper. The name came from my passion for paper crafts and needlework (I couldn’t choose only one!). I’m a wife and mother of two young girls. Originally from tropical Venezuela, I now live in Canada with my family. I’ve always been interested in all things handmade. I started paper crafts with a focus on parchment work (pergamino) and a few forms of fiber art. I also tried clay work, stained glass and frosted glass among many others. As an adult, I started scrapbooking but quickly went back to my cardmaking roots and I haven’t stopped since. To me, crafting is my time to disconnect and relax and it has become a helpful tool to manage anxiety. Thanks in advance for checking out my projects and for your support.
You can find me on social media as needleandpaper.
Hi. My name is Noga and I was introduced to card making in 2016 and never looked back! In the morning I work at marketing in our nursery and at night create cards, this is my therapy. My favorite mediums are Copic and distress oxide inks. I am so honored to be part of the SK family!

Originally from Ukraine, Galina now lives in Poland with her husband and their cat. She is into historical reenactment and reading fantasy books. She started her crafty way as a mixed-media artist and now her goal is: “Less is more”.
The person behind I Love Doing All Things Crafty, which incorporates the letters of my name. I have been a crafter all my life and fell in love with cardmaking in 2016. I love CAS cards but somehow mine usually end up busy but beautiful I think 😉 My favorite kind of card is a shaker, specifically the frameless/infinity ones as I came up with the shaker pocket design that is super popular at the moment. Before cardmaking, my paper crafting was mostly 3D paper pieces using the Silhouette electric die-cut machine. Besides cardmaking, my interests include photography, cake decorating, and DIY interior design. I am a wife to a very patient and loving man, a mother of two teenagers, and a Maltipoo puppy. I have been an Oncology Nurse for over 25 years and love my patients. Hopefully, my work inspires you as many of YOU inspire me 🙂
I live in a small European country called Slovenia where I just started a family with my wonderful husband. I fell in love with cardmaking a while ago when I was studying maths at a local university and I needed something to take my mind off numbers in my free time. Now, a few years later, I am a part of Studio Katia team as a design team coordinator. If I would have to describe my cardmaking style in three words, it would be: cute, clean and simple.
Please give a warm welcome to our team!
We would also love to get to know you too, so leave a comment below and let us know something about yourself!
