Hello everyone,
It’s Kaja and I am Studio Katia design team coordinator. We haven’t done a proper introduction of the team in a while so we decided it’s finally time to showcase our team!
I asked our ladies to introduce themselves so here is what they say:

My name is Monica and I’m the person behind Needle & Paper. The name came from my passion for paper crafts and needlework (I couldn’t choose only one!). I’m a wife and mother of two young girls. Originally from tropical Venezuela, I now live in Canada with my family. I’ve always been interested in all things handmade. I started paper crafts with a focus on parchment work (pergamino) and a few forms of fiber art. I also tried clay work, stained glass and frosted glass among many others. As an adult, I started scrapbooking but quickly went back to my cardmaking roots and I haven’t stopped since. To me, crafting is my time to disconnect and relax and it has become a helpful tool to manage anxiety. Thanks in advance for checking out my projects and for your support.
You can find me on social media as needleandpaper.

The person behind I Love Doing All Things Crafty, which incorporates the letters of my name. I have been a crafter all my life and fell in love with cardmaking in 2016. I love CAS cards but somehow mine usually end up busy but beautiful I think 😉 My favorite kind of card is a shaker, specifically the frameless/infinity ones as I came up with the shaker pocket design that is super popular at the moment. Before cardmaking, my paper crafting was mostly 3D paper pieces using the Silhouette electric die-cut machine. Besides cardmaking, my interests include photography, cake decorating, and DIY interior design. I am a wife to a very patient and loving man, a mother of two teenagers, and a Maltipoo puppy. I have been an Oncology Nurse for over 25 years and love my patients. Hopefully, my work inspires you as many of YOU inspire me 🙂

I live in a small European country called Slovenia where I just started a family with my wonderful husband. I fell in love with cardmaking a while ago when I was studying maths at a local university and I needed something to take my mind off numbers in my free time. Now, a few years later, I am a part of Studio Katia team as a design team coordinator. If I would have to describe my cardmaking style in three words, it would be: cute, clean and simple.
