Hello everyone! Katia here and I’m so excited to introduce you to the new member of our Mini Slimline collection. Sunflower Mini Slimline Stamp and Coordinating dies.
I’ve started by stamping and heat embossing all the tree images. Used Copic markers to color. (Y13, Y15, YG25, YG17, E79, E37) I didn’t do any blending, just used a darker marker to outline some lines to add simple dimension.

For my first card, I used the coordinating die to cut out the masking out of scrap paper. Placed it on top and with Blending Brushes added a bit of color to the background. I have used Broken China Oxide Ink. Trimmed it down to 3×5.5 inches and the card base is 3.25×5.75 in. added sentiment from Mini Sending Greetings and Prismatic Sky Pearls.

For my next card, I have added Broken China Oxide Ink splashes to the background while keeping the (already cut out) mask on top of the image. Trimmed it down to 2.75×5.75 in., heat embossed with gold Thankful sentiment on vellum, wrapped it around the panel. Then got my card base ready and light blue panel that’s 3×6 and the card base is 3.25×6.25. Added a few Gold Foil Discs and the card is complete.

For my last card, I used the larger frame from Mini Slimline Set: One and die cut the top panel. Stamped the sentiment, I thought it would look unique to have the flowers upside down. Although, it’s hard to say that they are upside down because the main stem is cut off. I’ve adhered the panel to the base using foam tape, added a few Gold Foil Discs and the card is complete.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this post. Please comment bellow, ‘What’s your favourite thing about Sunflowers?” for your chance to win a one of two, $25 gift card to Studio Katia store.

OMG! These Sunflowers are BEAUTIFUL! I love Mini Slimlines! Perfect cards! My favorite thing about sunflowers is how tall they are! They just shine and stand out from all other flowers!
Beautiful cards Katia! My favorite thing about sunflowers is how big they are and how they grow towards the sun!
Beautiful cards…. I love the color of the sunflowers…. my husband use to plant the back field with sunflowers every year and I have a large (20″x24″) picture of a close up sunflower with a butterfly on it in my craft room….. Love sunflowers.
These cards are so beautiful! I love sunflowers because of their size and yellow flowers really appeal to me!
So beautiful! Love this sunflower image and the gorgeous cards!
My favorite thing about sunflowers is the variety of colors and sizes that are available! The Teddy Bear variety is my favorite! It’s fun to watch them bloom, and when the seeds are ripe, the squirrels can be seen dragging the flower heads across my yard!
Love all cards. Sunflowers, I love how vibrant the color is and how they grow towards the sun. Years ago, I went on a road trip from the US south to the north. While traveling from Kansas to Nebraska it was a gigantic field with sunflowers on both side of the road, It was stunning.
I just picked some sunflowers out of a u-pick field a couple of months ago. I couldn’t get over the details up close. The middle section is so intricate and beautiful. They really are a flower that make you smile!
Beautiful Sunflower set and card. I love the majestic feel this large flower has as it grows skyward.
The sunflower is sort of an icon for us as Sisters of Notre Dame. Julie Billiart, our foundress, reminded us that “ as the sunflower turns toward the sun, a sister of Notre Dame should turn to the Good God.” We often us this phase changing “A sister of Notre Dame” to “we” to make it applicable to all. I always use a sunflower image when making Jubilee cards for our Sisters.
This set would certainly be well used!
These cards are lovely. Whenever I think of Sunflowers I think of warmth and sunshine. They are such Magestic looking flowers🥰
Awww!!! How cute this set is!!! My favorite thing about sunflowers is their vibrant colour. For me sunflowers mean summer! The huge fields of sunflowers here in Tuscany make me feel like in heaven!!! A yellow heaven!!!
I’m getting more and more fond of mini slimline and the sunflowers are gorgeous! Perfect in every way!
I love how they track the sun and are native to the Americas!
Sunflowers make me happy and the colour makes me feel cheerful!
I love to see them when they are planted in a field, so gorgeous…
Gorgeous sunflowers! Sunflowers make me happy! Along our walk, we see sunflowers with heads the size of bicycle tires! Huge! And soooo pretty! The people who grow them obviously have a green thumb when it comes to sunflowers.
