Hope your week is off to a great start. I have a super fun card to share with you today featuring the new MOSAIC HEART Stencil. It’s great for making backgrounds or highlighting a few as I have in today’s card.

I began this card by masking and then blending distress oxide inks onto 3 of hearts from the MOSAIC HEART Stencil. I started with mustard seed oxide ink in the first heart, then picked raspberry and then peacock feathers. I then blended the adjacent colors to create a mixed color in between. After that, I added glimmer paste to the top of the hearts and set it aside to dry while I die cut the script friend from the SPRING BOUQUET coordinating die three times and glued it together.
Once the hearts were dry I ran the panel through the die cutter using the large rectangular frame from the DOTTED PATTERNS SET 3 CREATIVE DIES. I then stamped out the “I Miss You” sentiment from the JAWSOME Stamp Set.
To the card base, I thought it looked best if I added the same sparkly colors to the outer edges before gluing on the panel. So I masked the card front off at the center fold mark of the card base and blended out the same colors again that I had used on the hearts and added a layer of glimmer paste. Once that was dry I glued on the top panel.
To embellish the card, I added the clear transparent crystals from the SUNNY TOPAZ CRYSTALS, OCTOBER CRYSTALS, and the MARCH CRYSTALS. To dot the “i”, I used an IRIDESCENT BUBBLE.
